Frequently asked questions

What is pikto.space?

pikto.space is a free web app that lets you overlay decorative frames on your profile picture. Organizers create campaigns with custom frames; supporters upload a photo, adjust it, and download the result to share on social media.

Do I need an account to use a frame?

No. Anyone can open a campaign link, upload a photo, and download a framed image without signing in. You only need an account if you want to create and manage your own campaigns.

How do I apply a frame to my photo?

Open a campaign page, click Upload Photo, choose an image from your device, then drag to reposition and use the zoom or rotate controls. When you are happy with the preview, tap Download. Your framed image saves to your device.

How do I create my own campaign?

Sign up for a free account, go to Create Campaign, upload your frame PNG (transparent center works best), add a title and description, choose a unique campaign link, and publish. Share the link with your audience.

What image format should my frame be?

PNG with a transparent area for the face works best. Keep file sizes reasonable (under 2 MB) for fast loading. Square frames display most consistently across devices.

Are my photos stored on your servers?

Photos you upload to preview and download are processed locally in your browser. We do not permanently store participant profile photos as part of the standard download flow. Campaign frame artwork you upload as a creator is stored so others can use it.

Why does my framed photo look different after download?

Make sure you adjusted position and zoom before downloading. If you change settings after previewing, tap Download again to render the latest version. Very large source images may take a moment to process.

Can I edit or delete my campaign?

Yes. Sign in, open My Profile, and use the manage options on campaigns you created. You can update details or remove a campaign you no longer want public.

Is pikto.space free?

Yes. The core frame tool is free. The site is supported by advertising on select content pages.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Email us via the Contact page with the campaign link and a brief description. We review reports and may remove content that violates our Terms of Service.
